I can help you with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and strategic planning using my skills from working in the financial services industry. My expertise includes the commercial, industrial, state and local government sectors.

I have over 40 years of business experience in technology, sales, manufacturing software and consulting businesses. My experience ranges from sales and management roles in multi-billion-dollar technology and software companies to owning and leading smaller software and consulting services businesses. I can offer an experienced perspective and assistance to start-up and growing businesses.

I am a CPA and have 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Tax and Auditing in a Fortune 150 company. In addition to my full-time job, I practice public accounting in my spare time and passionate about teaching. I have had help from some great leaders that helped my become successful in my career, and looking for ways to give back to community.

2024: I can help you start and build a scalable business. As coach and mentor, I can guide you through the business modeling and planning process as you work to align your ideas with market need. With more than 20 years in startups from pre-revenue through high growth, I can share experiences related to bringing your initial offering to market. As you achieve success with early adopters, I can help you leverage those wins to accelerate the growth of your business.

When I was growing my businesses for over 28 years I actually attended SCORE seminars and had a SCORE mentor to receive ideas from and put into action to help me grow those businesses. Whether is was how to grow with employees, or handling pricing for services and products for my customers I could bounce that off my mentor. Now that I am retired I would like to help businesses grow and help them to avoid my mistakes and give them positive ideas.

I have held multiple positions within a variety of organizations over the past 30 years. I have worked with established organizations and learned how a mature business functions and I have worked at start-ups where we were the team that was maturing the company. My experience is widely varied and includes Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Leadership Management and Mentorship, Sales Leadership, and Customer Service & Support. I am currently a business coach and want to give back by supporting small business owners with their growth and operational goals.

As an experienced entrepreneur, I can help start-ups and established business owners with a wide variety of business planning and growth issues. I've founded and led 2 different bootstrapped, start-up technology companies, both with successful exits (1 merger, 1 acquisition). After acquisition, I was a senior executive in a large organization with P&L responsibilities. I led or participated in the acquisition and integration of multiple companies into larger entities.

I currently provide these services for a fee but I really enjoy it and I would like to be able to offer 4 hours a month of assistance through SCORE that would be volunteer. I'd like to add this experience to my resume.

I have 29 years of experience in software engineering, conceptualizing, building and releasing software products that went into desktops, laptops, printers and phones. My skills also include hiring talent, professionally developing, mentoring and retaining this talent through management by objectives. The last 10 years of my career involved managing teams across geographies to deliver new and innovative products and therefore I feel that I have the background to mentor SCORE clients who are looking to start and/or help grow their business.
